A small freestanding boulder that is directly down the hill from the Lonesome Boulder. It is one of those unique boulders at Santee that one can do a traverse almost, if not completely around the boulder.

Look down from the Lonesome Boulder and this is directly down hill from.

The Carousel is one of the centerpieces of Santee bouldering. IMO it has some of the best pure friction problems on it, granted a couple of them are eliminates, but this boulder is definitely worth visiting.
