BETA PHOTO: Manuel's Horror (5.10a) really isn't that bad...

The Climb

This is nice hand/fist crack is located on the south side of the Manuel's boulder. A deep arm with hesitant feet midway make up the crux. Accessing the top for set up is 10 feet off the pavement.

Location

At the turnoff for The Cave Area, straight ahead is a big boulder two major cracks at either end. Manuel's Horror is on the other side.

Protection

Sling a medium size boulder for TR or #3,4 Camalots.

You could boulder this one, as the landing is flat.

I'm too much of a wuss to solo this. Kinda high. #1-3 camalots will get you to the top. Depending where you set up an anchor, you may need a #5 camalot. My #4 got tipped out so I just slung the boulder. Closer to the edge the crack is tighter.
