The AreaThis encompasses the area just before the last switchback near the summit of Mt. Woodson, the summit itself and a bit of the downhill run after the summit. After swinging around past The Cave Area switchback and heading north on the road, this area starts. It also includes the boulders down the north facing slope to the outstanding route P.H.D. and those routes past the summit antenna city to the Ogre. Getting ThereAfter The Cave Area, a right turn switchback is encountered and one begins to ascend the final run to the summit. It is after this switchback, that Summit Area is encountered. The Ogre is a rather big boulder, that has two fine lines on it. The Ogre is the left leaning offwidth crack that is fairly overhanging, with a crux finish via a small Y in the crack where it promptly turns to fingers. This route faces east.
