BETA PHOTO: Looking up at Chinese Arithmetic

Description

This is a technical face climb, that has a very tricky entry move, that without knowing it, makes this route 5.12. Think Stem Gem. From there, face climb left over the undercling with a few more very balancy moves to the top. Faces due west. Highly Recommended

Protection

Sling a boulder on the shelf above, or an oddly placed bolt on the ramp to the right.

When facing this problem, there is a lieback route (5.4) to the right (facing south) that serves as a downclimb to this base.

Years ago there were some glued pebbles for the start. Are they still there?

Does it finish straight up (above the undercling)? Or does it follow that seam up to the pinnacle?

Jon,

This finishes more or less straight up from the undercling (veering slightly right actually)
