Description

The Main Ridge Pinnacles are a series of small spires on the prominent ridge that can be seen from the parking area and stretch from above The Skull west to the vicinity of Rotten Rock Valley.

There are a large number of routes on these spires, almost all of which have free-standing summits and offer great views of the surrounding area.

Some of the better routes here include Arrowsphere (5.9), Out of Africa (5.10a), North by Northwest (5.10a), Green Grass and High Tides (5.10a), Black Flys (5.10c) and Too Sick to Stick (5.12c).

Getting There

Approach from the south by hiking uphill past The Skull or from the north by cutting off the hiking trail to the summit in the vicinity of The Bong. Plan on 45 minutes or so for the approach.
