Mid-crux on Dick (5.11b), Keller Peak.


Description 

Children's Forest has a number of small cliffs that offer short bolted sport climbs. The rock is similar to the other cliffs on Keller Peak - coarse and grainy.

The cliffs face all directions so it is possible to find sun and shade fairly easily.

When places like Hungover Wall are busy, these crags can offer a quiet alternative.


Getting There 

Drive the Keller Peak road for approximately 4 miles, make a left at the intersection and park in the Children's Forest Car Park.

Walk west along a paved road, passed a gate into the Shady Cove campground. Follow this road down to the campsite. Exit the campsite on a trail in the NW corner. Follow the trail North then west until you cross under a power line. Preschool Rock is directly in front of you.
