BETA PHOTO: Positive Rock from the road, Keller Peak.

Description

This is a small, easily missed formation just up the road from the Hungover Wall that has a handful of quality crack and face routes.

The crag sits on a slope above the road and is partially obscured by a huge pine tree which makes this easy to drive past if not paying attention.

Routes to do here include True Grit (5.9+) a hand crack that climbs better than it sounds, Anything But Positive (5.12a) a tricky and technical face and Grin Stretcher (5.12b) a vertical face to exciting moves over a roof.

Getting There

Continue up the paved road for another 0.2 miles past the Hungover Wall and park on the left at a somewaht wider portion of the road. Hike up a faint trail heading up the slope near the right side of the formation; the trail soon improves and then cuts left to deposit you at the base of the crag near the route Positraction. The "approach" takes all of a minute and is easily navigated in flip-flops.
