Description 

The south face is the tallest, most striking portion of Castle Rock and home to some of the finest routes in the area with solid, well-featured stone that's enjoyable to climb. The area does get fairly hot in the summer sun - so beware.

Pigeon Wings (5.8+), Castle Crack (5.10c) and The Roofs (5.10d) are all recommended routes here.

Getting There 

Hike the trail along the base to reach this portion of Castle Rock.
