BETA PHOTO: Helen Shull leading Centipede.

Description

Centipede is a 3 bolt route that ascends the free-standing boulder at the north end of the beach. This is a well protected climb that is a great first time lead or just a fun seaside outing. This route is usually accessible at all but the highest tides.

Location

Centipede is at the north end of Luffenholtz beach. Descend the access stairs and walk north 200 yards. continue past several formations on the right to a "notch". Walk 50 feet northwest to the rock.

Protection

3 titanium glue-in bolts. 2 of the same on top.
