Houda classic!

Description 

Houda point provides some of the best bouldering in the area during the Summer and Fall. When the sand is in and the tide is low, this place rocks! In winter the landings can be a jumble of 2-3 foot cobbles. The rock ranges from slightly sharp to smooth grippy sandstone.

Getting There 

Park at the Houda Point/Camel Rock vista point. This parking area is located .5 mile north of the Westhaven exit on Scenic Drive. A trail leads down to the beach after splitting at the notch, a north and south trail lead down stairs to sea level.

One of the most classic problems on the beach. Traverse for 15 feet on giant jugs, starting from the far right side of the "jugs" boulder, swing off the "horn" hold to a sinker four finger pocket and top out up the center of the main face. Repeat until pumped....[more]
