Description

"Harvey" is located between "Golden Years" and "The Serpent."
P1 - Ascend the blocky, cobbled buttress above the apron of rock right of "Golden Years" to a headwall. Climb the headwall past a low angle groove. Climb the upper buttress on fun pockets past a total of 7 bolts to the anchors. P2 - surmount an initial bulge to gain the ever steepening orange buttress. Climb the buttress past 10 bolts on fun well protected positive edges and pockets to the 2-ring anchor.

Location

The Easy Street area of the Far Side, between "Golden Years" & "The Serpent." Begin at two large pockets, on the right side of the rock apron, just before the top of the hill before descending to the shade of the trees near the far east end of the cliff band.

Protection

P1 - 7 bolts & 2-ring Fixe anchor.
P2 - 10 bolts & 2-ring Fixe anchor

Harvey is a nice addition to the Easy Street area of the Far Side. This is a fun climb on nice positive incut edges and the occasional pocket. The protection is excellent. The rock on the 2nd pitch is stellar and there is a good feeling of exposure.
