Black Crack (5.8) This is a very nice climb and one of the few cracks at Echo Cliffs. It's a long trek to this end of the cliff band, but worth the time and effort. The initial moves of "Black Crack" seem more like 5.9 The opening moves overhang slightly and good footwork is important to enabling one to maintain the insecure jams. Once established in the crack the difficulty eases considerably and the climb is well protected by 7 bolts.
