Nice long multi-pitch route. Good protection, excellent position, and fun climbing on unique features. Gets steep and pumpy on good positive holds. Needs more ascents to clean the suspect holds.
Saw a party of four doing the 1st pitch of "Charlie Hustle" yesterday. Consensus was that it is a nice challenging route, but needs more traffic to clean off the loose holds. Nice moves and well protected. The party didn't realize that there is a 2nd pitch as the climb isn't in the current Anderson guidebook and the hangers/bolts are camouflaged so they blend in with the surrounding rock very well.
Ascent of the complete route, P1 & P2. Enjoyable climbing on a variety of interesting features. P2 gets progressively steeper and tackles the steep upper headwall crux on small, but positive edges. Above the headwall the angle lessens to provide fun moderate pulling over bulges to the anchor. The climb is excellent and steep, but needs more ascents to clean up the loose bits. Well protected.
