Description

OB Slab is a nice area to escape the crowds. None of the routes are particularly worth writing home about, but one can potentially spend a fun half day here. Good for beginner groups. Around the corner to the left, Oh Pinyon Crack is a fun, short hand crack.

Getting There

Park at the "Key's Corner" Boyscout Trailhead, 1/2 mile east of Trashcan Rock (on your left at a wide right turn if you are driving from town). Head north along trail as for Ellsmere Island and Cool Dome. Cut east (Cool Dome will be to your left) to a sunny slab.

I've climbed on OBS several times. I think it's a fun place to climb. great for beginners, and offers something for more advanced climbers also.
