DescriptionThis generally north-facing rock is a good choice to escape the heat on a hot morning, although it gets afternoon sun. The two signature moderate routes here are Continuum (5.8+) and Invisibility Lessons (5.9). The Bendix Claws (11a) a superb, steep thin crack, is also well worth the trek. There are several other starred routes ranging from 5.10b to 5.13a/b. Getting There From the Split Rocks parking area (not really a parking lot, but rather a cul-de-sac), hike north along trail past the Split Rock boulder (NO CLIMBING), then cut east towards Frigid Tower, another large split rock. Future Games Rock faces northwest and can be identified by the dogleg crack Continuum Allow 20 minutes or so for the approach.
