Description

North Cave Rock is reached by walking from the right side of the parking lot or hiking the developed Ryan Mtn. Trail. This route, a wide left running crack, is easily seen from the parking lot. Racking gear on your left might prove benificial. Mild exposure as look over your shoulder and nice features allow face climbing techniques. Although extremely easy to climb, it might serve fun for beginning leaders or provide access to anchors on the summit for other harder climbs.

Protection

Medium to large gear and long runners. Hexes would do you nicely. No bolt anchors at the top, however, ample rock for a gear anchor. Rappel: walk down (west) toward the parking lot to old chain anchors (Omaha Beach).
