Description 

This small formation lies adjacent to the eastern end of the large parking area for the Ryan Mountain Trail. It is located near the eastern entrance of the parking area and adjacent to Park Boulevard.

A few routes have been done on the western and southern aspects of this formation. The rock quality varies considerably, but is overall a bit loose/grainy. The best route on the rock is Wait Until Dark, 10b.


Getting There 

Take Park Boulevard east past Hall of Horrors/Saddle Rocks, until a large parking area will be seen on your right (south). This is the parking area for the Ryan Mountain Trailhead. Grotto Rock will be found near the eastern end of the parking area.
