Description

South Cave Rock constitutes the southern of two large formations that make up Cave Corridor [a 30+ foot wide corridor of rock between this rock and North Cave Rock]. Cave Corridor lies directly south of the large Ryan Mountain trailhead parking area. This formation is farther of the two from the parking area, about 120 yards away.

Rock tends to be a bit loose and/or grainy. While the grains are mostly small in size, they don't seem to clean up very quickly.

Getting There

Most routes lie on the north side of the formation [inside the corridor], with a few lying on the south face. One route is found on a large boulder below the south face.
