Does this photo look like the start of this route? Ken Black, affectionately known as Ken The Psycho, trying for the Brownian Motion second ascent, January 1985. Note his right foot in a distinctive slopey dish, just right of the crack system, somewhat crucial to upward progress, as I recall.
