Description

The Houser Buttress area is a south facing line of rocks that form the southern perimeter of the Real Hidden Valley area. The jewel of the area is the prominent Houser Buttress, that features the much sought-after route, Loose Lady (5.10a). Other worthwhile climbs include Lucky Lady (5.8), Dummys Delight (5.9) and the much harder Hidden Arch (5.11d).

As an alternate to the Lost Horse Road, hiking past this area can take one out to the Arid Piles.
