This stunning climb begins left of Crack Queen on the Upper Walt's formation (it is mistakenly labeled as #2383 in Randy's guide). The crux moves, on slightly overhanging rock, occur between the first and second bolt. After the crux, beautiful 5.10 face climbing (natural pro and 2 bolts) on dark reddish brown patina exists to the top.
Protection
QD's for five bolt hangers and small TCU's or stoppers provide adequate pro. A two bolt anchor / rappel station is on top.
What Vern doesn't say is that the entire upper section (lots of 5.10) is quite run out despite the fact the crux section is pretty well protected (and solid 11c). Overall, I would consider giving the route an R rating.
