DescriptionThis area covers all of the crags near the 29 Palms Entrance Station. Most climbs are found on large boulders and tend to be fairly short; fortunately the rock tends to be good. Approaches range from 5-20 minutes typically with a bit of boulder hopping mandatory. Good bouldering can be found in the area as well for those so inclined. Getting ThereMost crags are easily accessed by parking in a turnout 0.2 miles south of the Park entrance. The Tusk is found 0.5 miles into the Park and is fairly obvious from the road.
