Description

This is an enjoyable, easy climb about 30' right of False Smooth as Silk.

Location

The route starts at a flake, just right and below the highest tree at the base of the buttress. Climb up to the ledge that the tree is on, and then into a wide off-width crack.

Protection

Fun route, although rock quality not the best. While it's a 5.4, it does get fun as run out is just a way of life... a longer route that takes up some smaller stuff (surprise) and a bigger piece to protect the off-width. Bring a couple larger (#3ish) at the top for belay.
For the descent, be mindful of some of the rocks down the corridor... I saw a few movin'!
