Starts 12ft to the right of Taxman (5.10a). Solo 40ft up to ledge with a bolt. Make crux move off ledge to left-facing flake. Surmount flake and continue up easy, heavily featured arete to steep headwall arete.
The upper half of this route was climbed about 10 years ago by George Armstrong and friends who called it "Not A Seagull In Sight" (5.5) - they climbed Mr. Bunny's Tax Shelter to about midway and then cut left to the arete to finish.
Odd line going from MBTS all the way over to the arete, it must be 30' or more to the left. Even given that about 75% of this line is independent. There was some loose rock on the arete and lower that fell during the FA. This line is direct and 100' long. Props to Sonja for a proud FA send.
