Southwest-facing, MM is a small, afternoon crag with easy access. Maggie's Farm and Rainy Day Women (both 5.7) are featured in the Winger's (the authors, not the band) 60 Favorites/Trad Guide to Joshua Tree.
Getting There
Mindless Mound lies just beyond Left Hand of Darkness, and behind (i.e., south of) the Ken Black Memorial Dome. An easy 5 minute walk from the car on flat ground.

Descend from Maggie's Farm & Rainy Day Woman by using the Class-2 gully just to the west (climber's left) of Rainy Day Woman. From the top of Maggie's Farm, walk to the north (slightly right and back from the top of the route). Circle counter-clockwise around behind the back of the formation (descending gradually) until reaching the top of the aforementioned gully. Then descend the gully to arrive at the start of the routes.
