Description 

Named for the spectacular route Imaginary Voyage, this formation sits high above desert. Located near the last public pullout on the Lost Horse Road. The formation is the left end of the high formation to the east as one walks to Atlantis Wall/Jimmy Cliffs/etc.


Getting There 

Drive down the Lost Horse Road and park at the last public pullout (approx. 0.6 miles). Take the trail southwest until the formation is fully visible. Scramble up the talus/boulders on the formations left (west) side.

You are made to respect this route early, as you have to crawl to the base, located in an alcove. The exposure starts here, with the alcove 30 feet above the talus, and the valley spread out a few hundred feet below.A stiff layback starts out the route, keep pulling until you feel the opposite wall at your back. Imaginary voyage is a spectacular route! Use a #5 to protect the awesome move through the wide crack that splits the roof. Clip the bolt on the face and back clean the #5.
