BETA PHOTO: The start of Carnage.

Description

This route lies about 50 feet into the narrow section of the corridor, on your left side. This crack system runs all the way up the wall and is thinner than it might first seem. It is the first route to the left of Mere Illusion (a face past 3 bolts to a thin crack).

Climb up into a concave section (hands), then exit this into a thin hands section (crux). Above the crack widens to a "highly textured" hand crack that can wreck "carnage" if your jamming technique is not perfect....

Protection

Take a number of cams from .5 to 3 inches.

Probably the best thin hands crack in Jumbo.
