work the NW arete just off the path. sharp left hand crimp up to a vertical rail.


Location 

from the trailhead after entering the valley, follow the trail right...up and over a small ridge as if going to Sail Away. once you walk over the small ridge, boulder is immediately on your right.

kinda for starters, this problem "showstopper" is not on Sports Challenge rock, and is closer to maybe Lenas Lieback? The Miramontes Guide is not getting high marks for accuracy, and I see it is listed on Sport Challenge. hmmmm.... without knowing the problem, it is hard to say.

the miramontes guide lists it under Sports Challenge rock. while Robert's description was not great, i found it. i tried to help by including MORE info about getting there (like coming up and over the small ridge -- Robert didn't mention that)
