Description
This SSW facing cliff is in the sun almost all day. The two routes that have been reported are "Cactus Pete's" 5.10a/r * and "Bury Me With My Boots On" 5.9 pg/r *. BMWMBO is 3 pitches of runout face climbing near the middle of the wall and CP is the straight up seam to the left with a couple of bolts (2 pitches).
Getting There
See approach for the Upper Dodge City. Go there and continue through the notch mentioned before to the sunny wall on the right. There is a great view of the North Wonderland from here.
Went to Cactus City with a true local, Mr. Todd Gordon, and he turned us on to a better approach. Go up Rattlesnake Canyon until JUST past the Pyramid. Turn right and scramble up to a notch. From the notch the large face of Cactus City is visible. Head on over!
