Murf at the crux of Tortuga. Copyright 2006, Randy...

Description

A short handcrack leads to a ledge below a fingertips to finger crack. From there biting locks that favor those with petite endowments allow for painful progress. At the top of the finger crack either break right to an awkward handcrack or left over crumbly face to the top of the OW. The direct finish is guarded by a large bush.

Location

The Tortuga is located on SW face of The Tortuga formation. This face is distingushed by a large face split by an OW with two bolts. This route is located right of the OW.

Protection

Tips and tips plus. Handsize for start and anchor.
