Description

This horrible route lies on the west face of Sphinx Rock, directly off the trail and just right of Cherry Blossom, another worthless route.

Climb the slabby face on the right taking care to not touch or weight the prominent flake system. Belay on top and walk off.

A better name would be Don't Touch This Route - what a waste of bolts. Minus one star out of five.

Do this route and you'll wonder why you bothered. With so many fine routes available in the Park, and even this area, your best bet is to just keep on walking. Not too sure what it is that makes that large hollow flake stay attatched to the face!

This piece of fecal-matter is better climbed with crampons. Further, after each ascent, following parties will find a whole new route.

This is certainly one of the worst routes at Josh. Climb 10 feet of nice slab to a death flake. I actually touched the thing and it sounded like an instrument. Nice bass sound.
