Description The Comic Book area features some fine crack and face routes on fairly good rock. It also offers climbers an opportunity to get off the beaten track and away from the more populated centers of the Park. Crack routes to do here include Comic Book (5.9+), Alice In Wonderjam (5.10a) and Frontal Lobotomy (5.10a/b) while Full Frontal Nudity (5.10a), Welcome To Joshua Tree (5.10c), Cleopatra (5.11b) and Silver Lining (5.11c) are some good face routes to check out. Getting There This area is basically a line of west-facing rocks located to the south of the Wonderland Of Rocks off Big Horn Pass Road. The Comic Book formation is easily identified from the road. Find a pulloff on the south side of the road about half a mile east of the Barker Dam parking spot and follow a marked trail (look for the brown Access Fund markers) south right into the middle of the area.
