Description

Becky's Buttress is the largest, most prominent formation in the area and visible from afar as a slender, hourglass shaped buttress lying at the foot of a steep hillside. Recommended routes here include Becky's Buttress (5.9) which climbs the outer face of the eponymous buttress, as well as Road Dogs (5.7) and Compromised (5.10d), which lie around the corner on the shaded north face of the formation.

This rock contains the longest, highest quality routes on the best rock in the area and as such deserves a bit more traffic than it sees.

Getting There

Hike straight out from the car and scramble up through boulders to the base of the formation. Allow 20 minutes for the approach.
