Who said Kate doesn't boulder?


Description 

Two crux sections of this route starting with the boulder start up large hueco with second crux midway as you ascend a bulge section.

Follow bolt line crossing over two other formation/sections of rock to what appears to be a new shut anchor which does not appear in book. Possibly two exits?


Location 

Route starts on mid-crag pinnacle under large hueco.


Protection 

9 bolts to west facing shut anchors which are accessed by ledge.

This is a fantastic route and my favorite (so far) on Boyscout Wall. The climb is broken into three sections, all with their own respectable crux. This route demands the lead climber to execute a variety of technique. Fun, fun!

The Southern California Sport Climbing book labels this route as Make a Way (763). The route name Three Giant Steps (764) would make much more sense, I am assuming MP is correct.

The MP one is correct. The SoCal book has a fair number of errors in it.
