Crucified Crag

Description 

This is a mostly north-facing wall that is located 30 meters east of Raven Rocks and about 30 meters south of the Hueco Wall.

Several long, technical routes on great rock are the main attraction here, but there also exists a number of shorter routes worthy of attention.

Sundowner (5.10c), Life Returns (5.11a/b) and Crucified (5.11b) are all recommended routes on this formation.

Getting There 

Approach as for Raven Rocks and continue east on a well marked path to this mostly north facing crag. Also easily approached from the Hueco Wall.

Featured Route For Crucified Crag

Crucified 5.11b  CA : High Desert : ... : Crucified Crag

This route is the farthest left route on the north (main) face. Climb the face to a large depressed area, tricky move right leads to the hueco/roof. Follow the underclings left to a large downfacing block/undercling. Go back right on to the face past a powerful, tricky crux to the anchors.
