A secluded clump of Boulders and short formations. Dffinatly NOT crowded. Varying qualities of rock. Some real good. Some real bad. Decent area for Bouldering a move or two.
Getting There
Johnson Valley is the Valley between Landers and Lucerne Valley, to the north of Yucca Valley. Many small areas of rock are scattered throughout this valley. This is not a destination area, but is worth checking out if your passing through. The most accessible areas are pretty trashed, with garbage and graffiti, but some quality rock exists.
Getting There Head north from Yucca Valley on Old Woman Springs Rd./Hwy. 247. Johnson Valley is reached after about 17 miles.
Head out Ghost rocd (a dirt road but most cars should have no problem getting out there)
