The prominent formation in the front is the White Fang formation, which is highly visible from I-40. Sadly all of the rock in this photo is off-limits to climbing as it lies within the Sweeney Granite Mountains Desert Research Center. Note: the area is patrolled regularly, so don't get any ideas!
The heyday of climbing there was in the 1970's, with a number of routes established. The huge roof visible just back and right of the White Fang formation is home to Purple Haze (5.11, A3) FA: Tobin Sorensen & Rick Accomazzo.
A number of routes exist on the back (legal) side of the formations visible in Granite Cove.
