BETA PHOTO: C-Section from the West.

Description

Also known as the Hedgeclipper area, this is a nice collection of sport routes of moderate length for CWC ranging from 5.8-12c with an approach that's not too long. With South-facing exposure, these are good for colder days. Access to the top is via a fallen tree that leans against the rock at the North end of the wall.

Getting There

Take the North entrance to the park and take the Creekside Trail (farthest South parking lot) past the waterfall. Cross the creek and backtrack to the North now. See the map for further details.

Ben trying to solve the tricky moves of Beta Slave.

Beta Slave 5.10c  CO : Denver South : ... : C-Section
Start 10 feet left of the large, black, water streak. Move up on some pockets to a small ledge. The crux is moving up and left to the next small ledge via a thin flake. It has delicate moves, a tricky sequence, and inobvious holds....[more]   Browse More Classics in CO

Robbie down climbing trees. This is somewhere in Castlewood but not at C-Section wall. If an admin wants to delete or move to general Castlewood area that is fine.
