2013 Raptor Nesting Closure in effect - NOW LIFTED MORE INFO >>> As of Feb. 1, 2013, a seasonal wildlife closure is in effect on Redgarden Wall in Eldorado Canyon State Park to protect nesting and roosting sites of the canyon’s falcons. The closure starts Feb. 1 through July 31, or until further notice and includes the following climbing routes: The Naked Edge (last 3 pitches only), The Diving Board, Centaur, Redguard (last 3 pitches only), Red Ant, Semi-Wild, Anthill Direct (last 3 pitches only), and The Sidetrack. Description 

This is a good line that is overlooked due to its proximity to more popular routes, like Rewritten and the Green Spur, which it sits between. Still, it is a good line that deserves more attention than it gets. It is a Journeyman's route, not a trade route, as it requires a steady mind and steady feet to ascend, on spicy protection.

Location 

This climb starts in the left-facing corner just right of the start of Green Spur and continues up for some distance linking corners to corners until the major system stops. Continue on cracks and flakes past the roof of Green Spur which is on your left, and merge with P2 of that route.

Protection 

A standard light rack including small cams and nuts plus some long slings.
