Description Suggest change

Burbage North plays host to a number of classic bouldering problems, and some good traditional lines. Often forgotten in preference to the more famous Burbage South, it is still has many great climbs that make any trip worthwhile.

The rock is similar in texture to that of Stanage Edge, although the height of the edge is less.

Getting There Suggest change

Going East through Hathersage on the A6187, take a left turn onto School Lane. Keep right passing the Scotsman Pack pub (you can enjoy that on the way home), and head up the narrow lane (The Dale) out of the village. Follow this for about 2 miles until Stanage Edge is clearly visible. Take the right fork to miss Stanage and continue along Cam Heights. After 1 mile the road swings around to the right, and Burbage North is clearly visible. Just before the bridge park up in the parking lot.

The crag is East of the parking lot, on the other side of a faint valley.
