Bryce Canyon

Is there any climbing in Bryce Canyon? I haven't turned anything up with my web searches and I'm considering spending the summer out there volunteering for the NPS. I know Zion and Capitol Reef aren't far, but I'd like to end up somewhere with climbing on my doorstep. |

The "ROCK" is crap, the Park says it is illegal, and as far as I know there are no old or new lines. Nearby there is the "Jungle" and the "Grand Staircase" |

Thanks for the info. |

+1 for the Jungle. It's awesome. |

Thanks Adam! |

Brian head isn't that far either |

Running scared is worth the drive. The over look needs new hardware. The quality of the fixed gear at the jungle is excellent. |

I bet BH needs an upgrade..is it mostly still original ? A decent spot though. |

Hey Roy, when does the season typically begin in the Jungle? Is the info on the page accurate? Late may/June? |

Well Adam, this has been a BIG winter for the Jungle! Some times the cell tower crews snow cat up with chain saws and get us off to an earlier start. But I think maybe sometime after the first week in June would be about right. I will post on site as soon as I know. Thanks again. |
