| Nice! Good luck to you guys, if need be I can host people at my place. Also, where the hell did you get all of those #5 and #6 Wild Country cams? I thought they weren't making those anymore? Finally, got any plans for that offwidth feature shown in the video? It looks pretty cool I'd be interested in incorporating it into a wall I'm planning on building after I graduate. | FLAG |

| Is that a piece of foam he has taped to his thumb (in the close-up gobie shot)? Never seen anyone do that before. A truly impressive tick list. Nice job guys! Hope someone points you to an unclimbed line up there as well. It would be a cool addition to the trip to get an FA or two. | FLAG |

| Pete Whittaker on-sighted Lucille yesterday! | FLAG |

| One might be tempted to say, given how often Lucille gets onsighted, that its actually easy. But I think what's actually happening is that its reputation precedes it. These boys spent a week pissing all over every thing Vedauwoo had to offer, so its really no surprise that, not only were they in spectacular shape, they knew the rock very well. Proud sends guys! | FLAG |

I have heard of three Lucille onsights... Leubben, Shanti and now Pete Whittaker. 3 in 20 years? Are there more? Anyway, the blog is awesome. Great photos and stories of some of the most notorious OWs in the US. keep it up! | FLAG |

| Those guys need to stop by Salt lake on the way to the Creek and get on Trench Warfare, put up by some Brit called Jonny Woodward. | FLAG |

| fwiw, Pete Whittaker is one strong young bro and the fact he onsighted Lucille should be more a statement of his skills then the rating of one climb and how many onsights it may have seen.[/soapbox] | FLAG |

| I would agree with that. Certain things can be tough to compare. 8 or 9 total ascents? I wonder how many have tried it. In any case, it would be interesting to hear about how all those climbs compare against each other. Style, difficulty etc, since they did them all in such a short amount of time. It can be tough to compare difficulty of climbs when you do them even a season apart. | FLAG |

| Hey guys, thanks for the support. All the routes and problems we've done so far have been amazing - soooo cool. Really lucky you have all these routes to do. As for grades, we're not going to comment on anything at the moment as we don't want to detract from the climbing itself. We're just psyched to get on the wide and not stir up any crap as personally I'm more interested in rock and than grade rants. At the end of our trip, we'll publish (unless we get too chicken) a list of all the stuff we've climbed and where they all lie relative to each other so you can compared if you want. Hope that's of some use. See some of you out there stuck in a wide crack hopefully! | FLAG |
