BRIGHT PHOEBUS - 5.10a *** (80') F(9b)

Begin between the two close together pines and climb directly up to the chain anchors on the slab above the roof. This is a delightful slab/face climb with interesting moves, consistent challenges and sustained 5.8 to 5.9 climbing except for the short crux section just below the upper overhangs. Follow the bolts through the weakness right of the large roof.

Location Suggest change

Where the trail turns away form the Upper East Face and heads towards the incline before the Forest Service gate, turn left and scramble up to the base of the gray slabs with the large roof on top. Start between the 2 pines at the base of the slab and climb directly up and right of the roof.
