This is a reorganization effort to help clarify routes in this area.

This is comprised of 2 faces.

Getting There 

This is 1.2 miles west of the Beige Siphon Tube. The crag is on the north side of the road adjacent to the bridge. Park prior to the bridge on the south side.

L->R: 

Left Face (many lines):

A. 9, TR.
B. 9+, TR.
C. 10, TR.

Right Face:

D. Safety in Numbers, 11 A3, 1p, 70'.
E. US 34 Bypass aka Safety in Moderation, 9-, 1p, 50', gear.

Amidst all the crud and loose rock that makes more for nice tourist views than safe rock climbing is this gem of a rock (the rock is somewhat orange in color). This rock is immediately west of the crack climb described in Gillett's book and just east of Half Pipe. Solid and varied is the name of the game. From one top rope anchor, one can pretty much choose the difficulty based on line. There is a bit of everything, so perhaps that is why "Practice Rock" is an appropriate name.
