Typified by smallish boulders with questionable landings, this area is nonetheless a very tasty treat for any upwards and clamberly inclined folks who find themselves in Stehekin with a bit of time to explore and work off the excessive bakery goods they are advised to consume during their stay. For those with a bit more time and ambition, a number of other toothsome morsels remain to be sampled.

Getting There Suggest change

Park along the bend in the road just down valley of the runaway truck ramp. Spot a stack of rocks about 5 feet off the road, and head up towards a boulder with a cairn made of branches on top. From here, head straight up the hillside, aiming towards the base of a wide talus field.
