Bouldering LCC or Joes Valley?

Hey all-

I'll be in Salt Lake for the next 5 days. Is it too cold to boulder in LCC or Joes Valley?

If not those 2 areas, can anyone recommend any areas within 2 hours of SLC that would have nice climbing temps?

Thanks in advance!

I've climbed in February here in SLC and if your in the sun it can be pretty nice. You'll need a boulder that's been in the sun for awhile so it's sucked up some heat. With the cold temps the friction is amazing on that granite. Never been to joes but I know people that have gone there this time of the year and it's the same thing. just make sure you're on a boulder that's been in the sun for a little bit and you should be ok. dress warm though.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
