Spending some time next week at the Marriot in downtown Boston. Which gyms are the closest and which do you guys prefer? Probably wont have a car so if anything is close that would be awesome...

Metrorock is pretty much your only option. Boston Rock Gym and Rockspot are both too far out from downtown Boston to be worth going to.

Great, thanks for the info guys. Something off the L is exactly what I was looking for so looks like it is MetroRock!

At the "summit"

Take the Orange-line T to Wellington, and give MetroRock a call when you get there. They'll have a shuttle pick you up (and possibly others as well).

Really? A shuttle? I would be fine to rock a mile or two as well but that sounds good... Thanks again, looks like a decent gym.

You can walk to MetroRock - it's around 1.1 miles from the Wellington T Station - but you'll have to cross a super heavily trafficked main road. I have walked it in around 20 minutes. Take your pick.
