Description

I have just recently been climbing here and there is likely another name but this one seems appropriate. This is a small bouldering area. Several underdeveloped caves and enough bones scattered about to start a natural history museum.

Getting There

This is across the road from the Big Bend camp sites in Poudre Canyon. Drive down a dirt road toward the obvious boulders.

This was done a while ago and I don't know the name. Sit-start under a blunt prow and slap your way up. Really fun!...[more]   Browse More Classics in CO

This is a pretty cool area - lots of options in a very nice setting. It looks like there might be some longer routes on the cliffs up behind the boulders as well.

When I was up here (October 2004), there was a fair amount of trash around some of the boulders - some of it obviously climber debris. If you are going up here, keep it clean. Pack out what you pack in, and a little more as well!
