Wayaka, on the north end in Washington Slaagbai

Description

Suffice it to say that if you're going here, bring your shoes. This island is not known for its climbing, but if you're a connoisseur of the obscure, then this is the kind of place you relish. Pristine limestone cliffs . . .

Deep water bouldering possibilities, inland cliffs, and even a few beachfront jungle gyms. The real goodness starts around Karpata and Rappel, and continues north into Washington Slaagbai. Inland, look for the boulders just south of Kuruburu on the west side of the road.

Getting There

For most folks I would avoid going through Venezuela.

If you are near Venezuela, I doubt this is posted in the correct location. Maybe post it under South America. The moderators can help fix it.
