I'm trying to split drive between Bend, and Jackson Hole. Does anyone have any advice of some spot to pull over and crash off of I-84? I am hoping to find a place not too far out of the way that would be good (free, and not ON the hwy) somewhere between Nyssa and Idaho Falls. Any advice would be great.

If you exit I-84 at Boise and head up Bogus basin road for about half an hour, you'll be on national forest land that you can camp on.

Thanks Trevor! I actually found a partner for the drive, so we are planning on hitting it non-stop. On the way back however I think we'll will shoot for the Bogus Basin. Driving a Subaru, too short for me to sleep in, but any flat ground by the car will really do.

The 24 hour lights at walmart tends to keep me up all night... much like Keenan's mom. ;)

Cheers
